ArmInfo. In recent years, 170 billion drams have been allocated for the development of Armenia's military-industrial complex, and dozens of new defense industry enterprises have been created to produce military products, as stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to journalists on May 11 during the election campaign in the capital's Erebuni district.
According to him, these efforts have resulted in a "completely new army" characterized by a modern level of logic, quality, and capability. This transformation was made possible by economic growth; funds were reinvested into the defense sector, which, in turn, became a driver of further economic expansion. The Prime Minister urged the public to attend the military parade (celebrating Armenian Army Day) to witness firsthand the significant changes that have taken place within the country's armed forces.
