RA NA speaker hosts delegation led by President of House of  Representatives

ArmInfo. On May 5, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the President of the House of Representatives of Belgium Peter De Roover.

The RA NA President thanked his colleague for being in our country  during these important days for Armenia and for participating in the  events taking place.

Peter De Roover, in his turn, thanked Alen Simonyan for the warm  reception, noting that he was happy to be in Armenia, which is on the  path of reform and democratic development.

The interlocutors' discussions focused on issues related to  inter-parliamentary ties, bilateral relations, as well as the RA-EU  agenda and the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia.

Regional developments and other issues of bilateral interest were  also touched upon.

The members of the delegation, accompanied by the RA NA President,  toured the National Assembly Park, where the tree symbolizing the  friendship between Armenia and Belgium has also been planted, got  acquainted with the history of the building of our country's  legislative body, and followed the ongoing work of the regular  sittings.
