


ArmInfo. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commended his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Yerevan.
"A good meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Thank you for the invitation to the European Political Community summit. This is the first visit of a Ukrainian president to Armenia in the past 24 years. It is important that we are resuming an active dialogue between our countries. We discussed the situation in the region, as well as security challenges and threats. I briefed him on the diplomatic efforts to achieve a real peace," Zelenskyy said on his Telegram channel.
He added that he and the Armenian prime minister also discussed the development of economic partnership. "I proposed resuming the work of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and holding its next meeting in Kyiv this year," the Ukrainian president wrote.
