


ArmInfo. Turkey's Special Representative for the Normalization of Relations with Armenia, Serdar K?l?c, will participate in the international conference "Yerevan Dialogue 2026," scheduled for May 5-6 in the Armenian capital.
According to the international conference program, K?l?c will participate in the thematic discussion "The South Caucasus at a Turning Point: Prospects for Peace and Cooperation," which will take place on May 5.
In addition to Turkey's special representative, speakers at this discussion will include Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Magdalena Grono, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia, and Director of the Topchubashev Center in Azerbaijan Rusif Huseynov.
The launch of the normalization process between Armenia and Turkey was announced on December 13, 2021, by then-Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. He also emphasized that Ankara would act in coordination with Azerbaijan regarding steps to normalize relations with Armenia.
The parties appointed special representatives of Turkey and Armenia for the normalization process, Serdar K?l?c and Ruben Rubinyan, who have already held several rounds of negotiations, but have not yet achieved any breakthroughs, other than the launch of air cargo and passenger services.
