Chief of General Staff  of  RA  Armed Forces held several official  meetings in India

ArmInfo.Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan arrived in  Republic of India on an official visit.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant  General Asryan held a separate meeting with the Chief of Defense  Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, General Anil Chauhan. The meeting  was followed by talks in an expanded delegation format.

The parties discussed current issues of defense cooperation between  Armenia and India and summarized the activities implemented within  the framework of the bilateral cooperation plan. They also touched  upon several matters issues related to regional security.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached to further deepen  cooperation in a number of industry areas. According to the source,  Asryan also met with Indian Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh. The  two sides discussed issues related to defense cooperation between  Armenia and India.
