


ArmInfo. With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MONKS), cultural events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the legendary musician, artist, director, and producer of Armenian descent, Stas Namin, will be held in Yerevan from May 3 to 11.
According to the MONKS, the drama "My Heart is in the Mountains," based on William Saroyan's work of the same name, will be shown on May 3 at 7:00 PM at the A. Paronyan Musical Comedy Theater.
From May 4th to 11th, the Union of Artists of Armenia will host an exhibition of Stas Namin's paintings and graphic works, titled "My Armenia," "The Roots of Rock 'n' Roll," and "Faces of Freedom." On May 5th at 7:00 PM, the musical "Beatlemania" will be presented-a vibrant and romantic performance featuring 25 of The Beatles' timeless hits.
On May 6th at 7:00 PM, viewers will be treated to a unique production-the rock musical "Hair," which tells the story of youth, freedom, and love.
On May 7th at 7:00 PM, Stas Namin's legendary band "Flowers" will give an exclusive concert, featuring well-known hits including "My Bright Star," "Summer Evening," "We Wish You Happiness," and other well-known works.
"The group, which has been shaping the history of rock music for more than half a century, will give the audience an unforgettable feast for the soul thanks to the skill and energy of Stas Namin, Alexander Gretsinin, Valery Diorditsa, Yuri Vilnin, Oleg Predtechensky and the vocalists of the anniversary theater," the source said.
