Anti-Corruption Committee: 12 Strong Armenia party supporters placed  under house aarest

ArmInfo. House arrest has been imposed on 12 supporters of the Artashat office of the Strong Armenia Party, who were detained on April 16. The press service of the Anti- Corruption Committee of Armenia reported this.

"As a preventive measure, house arrest, bail, and a travel ban were  imposed on the 12 people detained yesterday at the Strong Armenia  Party office in Artashat. Two more detainees have been released," the  committee told Armenian media.

As a reminder, more than a dozen supporters and members of the Strong  Armenia Party were detained early on the morning of April 16 on  charges of giving and receiving election bribery. The party, in  response to the arrests, stated that this was another attempt to  interfere with the creation of unequal conditions for political  forces, intimidation of party members and obstruction of their  activities.
