Armenia first president  meets with Iranian ambassador

ArmInfo.  Today, April 15, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the  first president of the Republic of Armenia,  received the Ambassador  Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran,  Khalil Shirgholami, at his residence.

According to Ter-Petrosyan's office, during their nearly two-hour  conversation, they discussed steps to maintain and deepen the warm  relations between Armenia and Iran, which are rooted in the friendly  traditions of the fraternal peoples, whose history spans thousands of  years.
