


ArmInfo. In recent years, Armenia and the European Union have made significant progress in developing bilateral relations, as stated by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan at the opening ceremony of the 8th meeting of the Armenia-EU Civil Society Platform on April 15.
He noted that the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) forms the foundation of the cooperation, and authorities are taking targeted steps to effectively implement it. According to Grigoryan, progress has already been achieved in judicial and legal reforms, anti-corruption policy, public administration, and other areas of sectoral cooperation. "Our cooperation with the EU is of key importance in this area, and we are committed to strengthening it for the benefit of our citizens," the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
He emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in all these processes, highlightinh the indispensable role of civil society in this regard. "In particular, this platform provides an opportunity to compare public policy with the expertise of civil society. We highly appreciate independent assessments, proposals, and criticism, which contribute to the development of more efficient and inclusive policies," he noted.
