


ArmInfo. At an extraordinary congress of the political party, the Reformist Party presented its candidate for Prime Minister of Armenia in the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, 2026.
As Reformist leader Vahan Babayan announced on his Facebook page, by unanimous decision, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, former Armenian Defense Minister and former Armenian Ambassador to the Russian Federation, has been nominated by their political party for Prime Minister of Armenia and will head their party list. Babayan, who is second on the list, also mentioned that the top ten included Ani Nerkararyan, Grigor Harutyunyan, Garik Urumyan, Natalya Saghyan, Anna Safrazbekyan, Mikael Galustyan, Anna Derdzakyan, and Arman Ghazaryan.
Recall, on March 16, 2026, Reformist Party leader Vahan Babayan and National Revival Party chairman Vagharshak Harutyunyan signed a declaration on their joint participation in the parliamentary elections in Armenia.
