A delegation led by Vice President of Uruguay, President of the Senate, Danilo Astori visited UWC Dilijan on 10 December.
According to the Armenian parliament press-service, the guests got firsthand view of the School that opened earlier in October, talked to the students and familiarized themselves with the everyday life and successes of the students.

 A group of Chinese women were detained at a hotel in Yerevan. The Armenian Police told ArmInfo the detained women provided massage therapy at the hotel.  Earlier, a citizen who delivered the women was detained on suspicion of trafficking in humans. The Police have suspicions that the women were not engaged solely in massage therapy.

 Today, on the occasion of the Day of International Human Rights, a one-day conference on Economic Rights was organized at Hotel Marriott under the aegis of the Human Rights Defender Office of Armenia. The conference was presided by the Ombudsman of Armenia Karen Andreasyan, gathered under one roof representatives of the executive, legislative, state regulatory, educational and business spheres, as well as representatives of human rights, consumer protection and other non-governmental organizations. Armenia's joining Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) carries a threat for Armenia's independence, the head of the analytical Centre for Globalization band Regional Cooperation, Stepan Grigoryan, said at today's press-conference.

On December 10, around 10 am, unknown persons beat Suren Sargsyan, Artsakh war veteran, member of the Council of Field Commanders. According to Sargsyan, four masked persons attacked him when he was leaving home in the morning.

 "It's not for me to judge ex-PM Tigran Sargsyan's decision to reactivate the Nairit Plant," Prime Minister Hjovik Abrahamyan told reporters, Wednesday, when commenting on the situation at the Plant.

Along with defensive tasks, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army also strikes preventive blows against the enemy if needed and such steps are most often taken outside our borders, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told journalists.
