ArmInfo. The first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan explains his statement that "the key to the Karabakh conflict settlement is in Russia's hands". 

In an interview with ArmInfo, independent analyst Saro Saroyan speaks of the domestic political impulses in Armenia at the end of the outgoing year. He also analyzes certain aspects of ex-president Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s speech made in December, as well as the reasons of certain failures in Armenia’s foreign policy.

The ruling  Republican Party of Armenia does not wish to participate in Armenian National Congress promotion, answering the statements and speeches of its leader and First President of Armenia Levon Ter Petrosyan. This was  stated by Armen Ashotyan, the Vice Chairman of RPA, commenting Levon Ter Petrosyan's speech at ANC congress.  According to Ashotyan, it is obvious, that ANC has lost its power as a political unit.  " Currently the only source of its energy is Levon Ter Petrosyan and his speech. He applied a proper political technology to attract an attention to ANC and to capsulate the agenda, but we don't want to participate in this process," rebublican mentioned. At the same time  he stated that Serzh Sargsyan was never left alone,as it was stated  by the First  President  at ANC congress.

This was Multiply stated also by the authorities of the country," Edward Sharmazanov, the Deputy Speaker of Armenian Parliament and the press secretary of  Republican Party stated, referring to TerPetrisyan's remark during the ANK congress addressed to the ruling party in respect to the fact that republicans do not even voice the principle of settling the Karabakh conflict on the basis of mutual compromise.

ArmInfo. The United States reiterates its strong support for the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs' work and appreciates their unwavering engagement with the sides to advance a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, U.S. Ambassador to the OSCE Daniel B. Baer said, when addressing the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.  The website of the U.S. Mission to the OSCE quotes Ambassador Baer as saying, "The United States warmly welcomes the Co-Chairs of the Minsk Group, together with the Chairmanship's Personal Representative, and the Head of the High-Level Planning Group (HLPG), to the Permanent Council. We reiterate our strong support for their work and appreciate their unwavering engagement with the sides to advance a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict.

ArmInfo. Nothing will change in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict after the election of Republican Donald Trump as the US President, Caucasus Institute Director Alexander Iskandaryan said at a press conference in Yerevan on November 11.
