ArmInfo.On December 11, in Brussels, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on bilateral cooperation on issues of mutual interest, as well as on regional issues in the South Caucasus.
Ararat Mirzoyan presented the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
At their meeting Mr Mirzoyan and his Slovak counterpart Juraj Blanar discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The interlocutors noted the importance of active Armenian-Slovak political dialogue and the importance of mutual visits at a high level in order to strengthen it.
The parties also touched upon issues related to deepening the Armenia-EU partnership and comprehensive cooperation in various fields.
The sides touched upon the security situation in the South Caucasus and the latest developments in the process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of abandoning the practice of using force or the threat of force, returning Azerbaijan to the negotiation process and continuing negotiations on a peace treaty in accordance with known principles.
