ArmInfo. The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau has issued a statement strongly condemning Armenian Premier Nikol Pashinyan's recent statements and agreements based on them reached as a result of negotiation on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Prague.
Armenia's premier and the ruling regime are not serving Armenia's interests and are not legally mandated to sign any documents in behalf of Armenia and Armenians, which could put into question Armenia's sovereignty and the Armenian people's interests.
No delimitation or demarcation process is acceptable in defiance of international legal norms, particularly with use of force or threat of force as well as with Azerbaijan's overt aggression and invasion of Armenia's sovereign territories. Artsakh declared its sovereignty in conformity with international and internal legal norms, and it is not to be bargained over.
According to the source, Armenia can by no means abdicate its role as guarantor of the Artsakh people's security and self-determination. Otherwise, it would result in de-Armenianization of Artsakh and expatriation of Armenians. The ARF hopes that the OSCE Minsk Groups co-chairs will honor their commitments to settle the Artsakh problem on the basis of the declared principles.
The ARF is calling on the Armenian people not to succumb to the authorities-disseminated defeatist sentiments, unite around national forces and ensure a breakthrough in the situation. It implies radical changes in three main directions: an all-Armenian campaign of restoring the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora unity, solving urgent defense and security problems, external assistance to rule out vitally important concessions. And these priority tasks can only be accomplished by a new government of national agreement which would enjoy popular confidence.
"We are determined and have a clear idea of what we should do. And we are calling for joint struggle," the statement reads.
