ArmInfo. Arman Dilanyan was elected Head of the Constitutional Court. Head of Office of the Constitutional Cour Edgar Ghazaryan announced this.
To note, today a working session of the Constitutional Court was convened, the issue of choosing the head of the Constitutional Court was discussed. Arman Dilanyan himself put forward his candidacy for this position. Arevik Petrosyan and Ashot Khachatryan also were nominated, who announced their recusal.
To note, on September 15 the Armenian parliament elected three judges of the Constitutional Court. Edgar Shatiryan, Yervand Khundkaryan and Artur Vagharshyan. After that, the process of electing the head and vice-president of the Constitutional Court began. However, on September 25, the head of the Constitutional Court was never elected.
