ArmInfo. Recently, hopes for a positive dynamic in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict have appeared. Deputy Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center, Charles Lonsdale, stated this during the winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna.
"We are following the developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which is resolved by the OSCE Minsk Group. Recently, some hopes for a positive dynamic have appeared after regular meetings of foreign ministers and informal meetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan", he said, Trend reports.
Noting the commitment of the parties to concrete measures to prepare their people for peace, Lonsdale expressed readiness to provide support for this process if the parties are interested in this. "But we are not directly involved in the work of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs," Lonsdale concluded.
