Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan said this in an interview with journalists, adding that the country will not limit itself to buying 4 airplanes. "The attackers, according to the contract, must be received in a timely manner, they have not been delivered to Armenia yet," the Minister said.
As previously reported, Moscow and Yerevan signed a contract for the purchase of four Su-30SM multi-role fighters, which the Armenian Forces of Armenia should receive as early as in 2020. Armenian pilots, according to the contract, will undergo retraining in Russia. According to ArmInfo's data, in total, Armenia will purchase 12 SU-30CM.
