ArmInfo.In the framework of the ''Zibiliks'' (from the Armenian 'zibil' meaning garbage) case, the court fined Stepan Sahakyan, the director of the SAS supermarket chain and the head of the pre-election headquarters of Yerevan former Mayor Hrayr Antonyan 2.5 million drams each.
The Zibiliks case, in particular, concerns violations and attempts to bribe voters that took place during the 2017 Yerevan elections. The lawsuit in this case was presented by members of the Yelk opposition bloc, which was led by the current Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The remaining defendants were fined 2.3 million each. In general, the case involved 11 people.
