ArmInfo. Conducting a meeting between the Acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the candidate for the post of CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas has not been scheduled. This was stated by the press secretary of the Prime Minister Arman Yeghoyan. He noted that such a meeting is not planned. "If such a meeting has not yet taken place, it means that there is no need for it," Yeghoyan explained.
To note, today, after a working meeting between President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and State Secretary of the Security Council Stanislav Zas, Lukashenko signed a draft decision on the appointment of Stanislav Zas as CSTO Secretary General. Zas's candidature was approved by the heads of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Zas held meetings with the presidents of these countries. Today Zas also announced that he was ready to meet with the acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as Foreign and Defense Ministers of Armenia.
