ArmInfo. I believe that there are  two reasons why Pashinyan decided to hold early parliamentary  elections in December of this year, and not later. On November 21,  the head of the ARF faction Armen Rustamyan stated this in an  interview with journalists.

Rustamyan didn't exclude that after the  elections, the parties will be imposed a decision on the Karabakh  issue, and Pashinyan may in this case use his high rating. "It  reminds me of the 90s, when 93% chose the president, and the first  step was taken towards a flawed solution to the Karabakh conflict.  This is the reason for my alarm," the deputy stressed.

The head of the ARFD faction noted that the statement by Trump's  national security adviser John Bolton should be taken seriously, as  the assessment was correct, if the Karabakh issue is to be resolved,  the authority that has a high level of trust must decide it.

The deputy also criticized Pashinyan for violating the Electoral  Code. "He has already launched the election campaign, visiting the  regions of the country bypassing the IC," said Rustamyan. Rustamyan  stressed that the CEC must respond to this. As for the authorities'  position that it was just a regular visit, Rustamyan noted: "I  honestly have the impression of deja vu. As soon as a person comes to  power, he uses the same methods as his predecessors had," - the head  of the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" faction emphasized.
