ArmInfo.The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry responded to the invitation to Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan to France. "Such actions of Paris force Azerbaijan to  reconsider relations with France," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry  said in a statement.

"The visit of Bako Sahakyan, who represents himself as the head of an  illegal entity created in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, is  another unsuccessful attempt to advertise this puppet regime at the  international level," the press service of the Foreign Ministry of  Azerbaijan said by the Turan news agency.

In particular, it says: "The creation by France of conditions for the  propaganda of the illegal regime created in the occupied territories  of Azerbaijan seriously raises the question of its objectivity and  impartiality as a permanent member of the UN Security Council and one  of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries mediating in the  negotiation process on the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani  Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. "

France's permission to arrange a solemn reception for those directly  involved in the occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan and  subjected hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis to bloody ethnic  cleansing, is a serious blow to the country's reputation in the eyes  of the Azerbaijani public. Azerbaijan through diplomatic channels  will express its strong protest to the French side over this issue.

"A consistently based approach based on double standards from France  forces Azerbaijan to reconsider its relations with France," the press  service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
