According to him, ''On the Line of contact and the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia relative stability is uphold, number of ceasefire violations goes down. We call on the sides to reinforce this positive trend with additional de-escalation measures''.
At the same time, the Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation at the OSCE stated that ''Following a short electoral pause intensive contacts between Azerbaijan and Armenian sides resumed. Resultative meeting took place on sidelines of CIS summit in Dushanbe on 28 September 2018'', Lukashevich said, according to the official website of the Russian Permanent Mission to the OSCE on Twitter.
At the same time, he stressed that ''efforts of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group as a collective mediator in elaboration of sustainable settlement of Naghorno Karabakh conflict deserve high evaluation and unreserved support''.
