ArmInfo. The Republican Party will take part in the December elections in Armenia to implement its goals and programs. The leader of the party, Aram Sargsyan, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
To note, the "Luys" bloc, "Enlightened Armenia" party, also reported about separate participation in the elections. According to the rumors circulated, both parties did not come to a common denominator regarding the format of participation in the elections. The leader of ''Enlightened Armenia'', Edmon Marukyan suggested that members of the ''Republican'' party participate in the proportional list of the party he heads and not consolidate into a bloc, since the passing qualification for political alliance is higher than for political parties (7% and 5, respectively). But the ambitions of the leaders of the '' Republican'' party did not allow this decision to be made. It is not known yet that these parties will agree on consolidation in the ''My Step'' bloc headed by Nikol Pashinyan, which is the absolute favorite of the election race, or they will go separately.
The elections will most likely be boycotting the ''Democratic Party of Armenia'', as they are held in the old EC.The party "Heritage", despite the dissatisfaction with the fact that the elections will be held under the current EC will nevertheless take part in them, however, it is not yet known in what format. The parties ''Sasna Tsrer'', ''Prosperous Armenia'', ARF Dashnaktsutyun have already announced their participation in the elections, the ''Republican'' party has formally decided to take part in the elections, it remains to fix this de jure. But the "Armenian National Movement" party, which had initially declared its participation in the elections, refused this idea due to lack of finances and due to the fact that they are passing through the current EC. Most likely, the ''Free Democrats'' party will take part in the elections, but it has not determined the format of its participation. The ''Alliance'' party also announced your participation in the election.
