ArmInfo.The head of the migration service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia Armen Ghazaryan, who is on a two-day working visit to Tbilisi, met with the head of the migration department of the Georgian Interior Ministry, Shalva Enukidze.
The department's press service told ArmInfo that the head of the Georgian migration department noted that relations with the Armenian migration service were always good-neighborly and expressed hope that close contacts would continue in the future. In turn, Ghazaryan assured that he sees new directions for interaction.
During the visit, Ghazaryan also visited a special center for asylum seekers of foreigners in Martkopi and got acquainted with its conditions.
Ghazaryan noted that the possibilities of such a center operating in Armenia are limited, and now work is underway to build a new one. According to him, in this regard, the experience of Georgia in this field will be useful for Armenia.
