"By erecting monuments to the soldiers who died for the fatherland, we do not let ourselves forget about the responsibility that they placed on our shoulders, giving their lives for their Motherland," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on August 25 in Hrazdan, Kotayk region of Armenia, where the opening ceremony of the monument to the participants of the Artsakh war was held.
According to the prime minister, the willingness to give his life for the Motherland is the highest form of human consciousness. They, as Pashinyan pointed out, gave their lives for a new one. "Monuments to the fallen soldiers are called upon to awaken a sense of conscience in us if we at any time forgot about it, each time passing by these monuments, we will be aware of our mistakes, if any, restore a sense of pride if it is lost somewhere> , - he noted.
The opening ceremony is also attended by Defense Minister David Tonoyan, National Security Service Director Artur Vanetsyan, Police Chief Valery Osipyan, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, Governor of the Kotayk region Romanos Petrosyan, numerous guests.
