ArmInfo.Hambik Gevorgyan, brother of the driver of former Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, was charged under Article 235 of the RA Criminal Code (Illegal acquisition, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives) in the criminal case of the investigator in the Special Investigation Service (SIS) or explosive devices). Hambik Gevorgyan was detained together with the brother of former Prime Minister Hovik Amrahamyan, Henry Abrahamyan. During the searches carried out on 6 and 7 August within the framework of the criminal case on the events of March 1, 2008, arms and ammunition were found on the former mechanized repair plant in the village of Mkhchyan, which was registered at Hambik Gevorgyan. On suspicion of illegal possession of arms and ammunition, the brother of former Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan Henrik Abrahamyan and Hambik Gevorgyan were detained.
