Ghazaryan was detained at the end of June on charges of illegal enrichment, as well as in the presentation of false information in the declaration on property and concealment of data to be declared. He was charged with illegal enrichment, as well as concealment of information about the real amount of money in the declaration submitted to the ethics commission of high-ranking officials (314 and 310 articlesfull of the Criminal Code - forgery and illegal participation in entrepreneurial activities). On June 28, he was arrested for a period of two months and, disagreeing with the court's decision, appealed him to the appellate instance.
During the searches in Ghazaryan's apartment on Teryan Street it was found 35 million drams, $ 1,110,400, 230,500 euros, and in the garage of the latter, $ 2,000 was found during the search. It was established that on June 25 Kazaryan's account in "Ardshinbank" was $ 50,000 has been cashed, and $ 120,000 and 436 million drams have been cashed from the account of the latter in Unibank.
