ArmInfo. For the recent 20 years Armenia for the first time will have an opportunity to make its choice during the fair elections, Eduard Aghadjanyan, a member of the Council of Elderly of Yerevan and Civil Contract party stated during the rally on April 29.
He noted that during the informational war there was a statement that the given act of protest is of anti Russian character and it was compared to Maidan. "While nation's power, there could be no anti Russian mood. Long live the people's power", Aghadjanyan stated. He also noted that new communities joined protests and called on all the parliamentary factions to vote for Nikol Pashinyan on May 1.
MP from the Yelk bloc Ararat Mirzoyan noted that with the help of the peaceful protest the participants of the protest demonstrations managed to achieve great changes. "I greet all the political forces, particularly the parliamentary factions for their wisdom and for they also decided to choose the candidate of the nation Nikol Pashinyan. I am sure that many experts that left the country, will return to the Motherland. We will express our political will so that to build Armenia of our dreams", MP said.
In his turn, the member of the Yerevan Council of Elders, member of the Civil Contract party Alen Simonyan noted that there will be no vendetta connected with the political preferences, but if anyone breaks the law, will be punished totally. "This is a victory of the nation and there will be many victories like this. This is just a beginning. Armenian citizens won and will lead their victory to the logical conclusion", Simonyan stated.
In his turn, actress Arsine Khanjyan stated that if she would not have come to Armenia she would not manage to understand all the complicated work that the members of the protest have done. " Seeing you it immediately becomes clear that there could be changes in Armenia. With your will you managed to achieve the changes, you proved that our country has a future. I call on all the parliamentary factions to vote for Nikol Pashinyan. We have many to do, and I believe that there will be changes in our country", said the actress.
