ArmInfo. Nikol Pashinyan today came to the talks, not having a goal to hold them, but to dictate their terms. This was stated in the statement of the first vice-premier of the Government of Armenia Karen Karapetyan in connection with the situation in Yerevan.
"We, all citizens of the Republic of Armenia, hoped, after the results of today's talks, we will find solutions to overcome the current situation." Unfortunately, one of the parties, Mr. Pashinyan, did not come to negotiate but to dictate his terms. the dialogue could not be fruitful, as one of the parties had a destructive position, not suggesting a desire to agree, "Karen Karapetyan said in a statement.
"We call all the political forces, citizens, to be vigilant. Our superpower continues to be the stability of the state and providing solutions for this purpose, as well as not hampering the normal activities of the country," - said the first deputy Prime minister.
It should be noted that the dialogue planned for today between Serzh Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan did not take place. Sargsyan stated that the opponent "did not learn from the events of March 1 (2008)," warned of the consequences and took his leave, and Pashinyan called on the citizens of the country to double the scale to continue the actions of civil disobedience. After the failure of the "negotiations" Nikol Pashinyan told reporters: "You saw that Mr. Sargsyan lost his sense of adequacy and is in poor command of the situation." At the same time, he called for continued pressure "until this feeling returns to him."
