ArmInfo. No one can replace a fighter on the front line. On April 18, during a video bridge from Moscow, said Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko, answering the question whether today there are such cyber soldiers that can replace military personnel on the front line.
"Yes, we need to implement a system of sensors and sensors that control, for example, the ability to throw or move enemy subversive and reconnaissance groups." There are appropriate systems, in particular, we have small-size radars that allow us to fully control the situation and any movements within a radius of 15- 20 km in areas where increased attention is required, "the military expert said. At the same time, he stressed that in any case, a person makes the final decision, and it is impossible to give a tip to artificial intelligence, which is not yet in its entirety. Korotchenko once again stressed that in any case, the person who manages the operation makes the final decision, and this is the prerogative of the person.
At the same time, Korotchenko is convinced that for the special forces units of the Armenian Armed Forces the experience of using such equipment as the new version of "Ratnik" when the units on the battlefield or in the performance of some mission can exchange information with the outside world, see the situation on The battlefield on electronic tablets, made in a protected version. "I think that the introduction of such capacious intellectual systems, where electronics helps a person make the final decision and assess the situation on the battlefield, will be useful. We are actively implementing such systems in the armed forces, and I think that they need to be developed in the armed forces of Armenia, since for them the future ", said Korotchenko. According to him, of course, any defense is expensive, but the Armenian armed forces should not stay away from the main armament developments. At the same time, he once again reminded that Russia provides targeted weapons loans to Armenia in order to maintain the balance of power and the existing potential. According to him, that intelligence, which Armenia has, should have a return, including in the sphere of military-industrial cooperation. "In any case, we regard Armenia as a serious partner in the field of intellectual technology and confrontation with hybrid wars," he said.
Referring to possible areas of cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the field of military-industrial complex, the expert noted that the Armenian side has a strong potential in the field of mathematical modeling, in the development of appropriate software that was not lost after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and it is necessary to look for forms of practical cooperation for the Armenian-Russian interaction. According to him, Armenia and Russia could successfully cooperate in such areas as electronic warfare, which is one of the most important areas of activity today.
"The mathematics school of Armenia has always been at its best, there are cadres, scientific achievements and I believe that in the framework of programs, including intergovernmental ones, this potential should not only not be lost, but a form of its practical integration in joint projects is found. it is important, and in this respect those brains that exist in Armenia, they are not inferior to the brains that are in the same Israel," Korotchenko said. And in this context, he expressed the conviction that the leaders of Russia and Armenia should instruct to strengthen scientific and technical ties between the defense enterprises of the two countries. According to the expert, for Armenia another extremely important area is the availability of a capable radio electronic reconnaissance, which makes it possible to obtain information about which radioelectronic means are deployed near the border, what weapons they belong to, as today absolutely any equipment has what it radiates in its composition ether. According to him, this will allow the Armenian side to get a full picture of the potential and combat readiness, neighbors within a radius of 1500-2000 km.
At the same time, he stated that the Armenian generals perfectly understand this task and take practical steps to have comprehensive information about what is happening around Armenia through technical, radio-electronic location.
