ArmInfo. At the initiative of the Russian side, President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with newly elected Prime Minister of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
According to the Kremlin, Putin warmly congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on his appointment to the post of head of the Armenian government and wished successes in this high public office.
"Both sides stressed the importance of further development of the allied partnership and cooperation in all areas." Earlier, the Russian head of state sent a congratulatory telegram to Serge Sargsyan, "the Kremlin message reads.
