ArmInfo.Armenia is currently in the process of fundamental reforms, and the public administration is a part of them. This was announced by the head of the EU delegation in Armenia Piotr Switalsky at the opening of the 14th meeting of the Eastern Partnership on "Public Administration Reforms" on March 15 in Yerevan.
"For our part, we, of course, offer support, for example, the total amount of EU assistance in this direction amounted to more than 40 million euros," said Switalsky.
The European diplomat said at the same time that holding this event in Yerevan is a good opportunity, which once again proves Armenia's active participation in the framework of the EaP cooperation. According to him, this platform is a good opportunity to exchange experience, share information and assess the level at which each of the countries participating in the Eastern Partnership is located.
At the same time, the head of the EU delegation expressed gratitude to the Armenian authorities for paying great attention to issues within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. It should be noted that the 14th meeting of the Eastern Partnership on "Public Administration Reforms" is held in Yerevan. March 15-16 with the first thematic platform "Good Governance and Stability". The event is attended by representatives of the EaP countries (Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova), EU member states (Czech Republic, Poland, Estonia), the European Commission. The main discussions of the thematic platform "Public Administration Reforms" will concern strategic planning in the field of public administration as a key element of strategy planning and strategy coordination. Also, the working program of the platform "Public Administration Reforms" for 2018-2019 will be considered.
