ArmInfo. Issues of Armenian-Danish cooperation were discussed in Copenhagen by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and his Danish counterpart Andres Semuelsen.
During the meeting, the parties stressed that the visit will stimulate the activation of the Armenian-Danish cooperation, discuss the current agenda and bilateral programs. The ministers also stressed the importance of multilateral cooperation between the two countries, the relevance of interaction on international platforms. The emphasis was also placed on intensifying trade and economic cooperation. Ministers agreed on the need for more frequent inter-MFA consultations.
During the meeting, the ministers stressed the importance of expanding the contractual base. In this context, Nalbandian noted that during the visit, three agreements are planned to be signed.
The process of ratifying the Agreement on an Expanded and Comprehensive Partnership with the EU was also discussed. Nalbandian presented to the colleague the process of the Karabakh settlement. Regional and international issues were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the ministers signed an agreement on the liberalization of the visa regime between Armenia and Denmark.
