ArmInfo. "Tsarukyan" bloc will join the ranks of the ruling coalition after the presidential elections. This is the reason for the decision of the bloc on the support of the presidential candidate from the Republican Party Armen Sargsyan at the parliamentary elections. As you know, without the support of the bloc, Sargsyan would not be able to score 3/4 of the votes in the first round, as RPA and ARF Dashnaktsutyun do not have the necessary number of mandates for this.
In connection with the upcoming entry into the coalition, according to ArmInfo sources, the bloc's representatives are ordered to "moderate ardor" when criticizing the authorities. Many of them are generally in an awkward position, as they are forced to call the media and ask them to adjust their earlier critical statements to the government. Other "prominent" representatives of the bloc these days generally prefer to remain silent and do not communicate with the media, in order not to say unnecessary inadvertently.
On the threshold of joining the coalition, the "Tsaroukyan" block intends to activate its media resources, whose activities after the failure in the parliamentary elections (Gagik Tsarukyan hoped to get 50 + 1% of the vote on the results of the parliamentary elections) was terminated.
Thus, the "Tsarukyan" block is actively preparing to join the ranks of the coalition. As a compensation, the bloc hopes to get one of the three posts of vice-premiers, as well as a number of ministerial portfolios. At present, it is not yet known which ministerial posts will depart from the bloc, and who will assume the post of vice-premier. These issues will be discussed immediately after the presidential election on March 2.
