ArmInfo. The second high-level meeting on partnership in the field of mobility between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union was held in Brussels on January 23. As the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports, the Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Karen Nazaryan, and from the EU side the delegation was headed by Marta Gypsy, Director for Strategy and General Affairs of the Directorate General of the European Commission for Migration and Internal Affairs. The parties discussed the programs implemented in Armenia within the Partnership for Mobility, and also noted the priorities for further work. Both sides demonstrated the experience of successful projects in a number of spheres, in particular, in the areas of border management, integration, migration and development. In his speech, the Deputy Minister underscored the successful implementation of the agreements on visa facilitation and readmission, which came into force in 2014, which underscore the possible launch of a visa-free dialogue with the EU reflected in the bilateral and multilateral framework documents Armenia- EU. The Armenian side also presented the latest changes in the legislative and normative bases in a number of key areas and declared its readiness to ensure the continuation of the reforms.
