ArmInfo. Russia will refuse to relations with Armenia and other CSTO countries from the "secret" stamp. As the Russian media reports, the relevant article of the Russian legislation "On State Secrets" is going to be updated the State Duma of Russia. According to the changes, in the federal law "On State Secrets" only categories "top secret" and "special importance" will be left.
According to Anatoly Vyborny, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma's Committee for Security and Combating Corruption, the introduction of changes is conditioned by the need to harmonize the national legislations of the CSTO member countries: Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Vyborny noted that Russian national legislation will be improved on the basis of the model law adopted on October 13 in St. Petersburg by the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly on state secrets and in the future.
