Privilege of nomination candidate for the post of Prime Minister of Armenia in 2018 on the basis of parliamentary elections of 2017 belong to the  ruling Republican Party, which has an absolute majority in the  National Assembly, and as soon as the RPA expresses its position  regarding the candidacy of the future head of the Cabinet, the  Tsarukyan bloc will publish its point of view on this matter.

This was stated in the conversation with journalists by the head of  Tsarukyan block, businessman Gagik Tsarukyan. 

"People voluntarily voted for the RPA, and there were no  falsifications during the elections, voters simply chose their"  courtyard authority "or acted at the direction of the head of the  local administration, but I assure you these people can not decide  the issues. It's too late now, the choice of the candidate for the  Republican Party is premiered, and no one can do anything about it,  "explained Tsarukyan. 

At the same time, he did not exclude the possibility that the  Tsarukyan bloc would join the ruling coalition with the RPA.It should  be noted that after Armenia's transition to a parliamentary form of  government and the expiration of the term of office of the country's  president in April 2018,the republic will elect a new prime minister  who, according to the Basic Law, will become the country's leader.  Despite the fact that President Serzh Sargsyan promised not to stand  for the post of prime minister after the expiration of the powers of  the head of state, if the constitutional reforms are adopted, on the  sidelines the authorities do not exclude the possibility that he will  head the Cabinet in April 2018.
