Yerevan: There are no specifics about a possible meeting of the heads  of Armenia and Azerbaijan yet

ArmInfo. So far, there are no specifics about a possible meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated this in a conversation with  journalists.

According to him, for today there is only an agreement on a meeting  of the foreign ministers of the two countries in September in New  York, during which issues will be discussed to create the appropriate  conditions for the continuation of the talks.

Asked whether the Minsk mediators could offer new proposals on the  settlement of the conflict, Nalbandian replied: "It is difficult to  come up with a new bicycle. We will negotiate around what has already  happened.  Negotiations have no alternative."

Earlier, in an interview with the Armenia TV channel, Armenian  President Serzh Sargsyan announced the possibility of his meeting  with his Azerbaijani counterpart in the autumn of this year. He even  assured that a preliminary agreement on this has already been  achieved with the Minsk mediators. Later, "Izvestia", referring to  its diplomatic sources, wrote that the meeting of the Armenian and  Azerbaijani leaders will be held before the end of this year on the  initiative of Moscow.
