ArmInfo. Republican Party of Armenia headed by actual Mayor Taron Margaryan with 72,3% of votes leads the race of Yerevan Elder's Council Elections. This is stated by the results of the survey held by Armenian marketing Association of Gallup International embracing 1047 habitants of Yerevan.
According to the survey, the second position is taken by Nikol Pashinyan, the "Yelq" bloc leader, having 15,5%, and the list ends with Zaruhi Postandjyan from Yerkir Tsirani with 4,7%. The survey results showed also that the polling sites on May 14 will be attended by 67,1% of Yerevan residents. 15,4% of the survey participants stated they will participate in upcoming elections, 4,5% of respondents stated that they will hardly participate to elections, 10,4% stated they will not go, 2,6% avoided to answer the question.
It is interesting, that prior to the beginning of the electoral race Taron Margaryan's rating formed 61,2%, Nicol Pashinyan's - 11,5% and Zaruhi Postandjyan - 3,9%. Aram Navasardyan, the head of Gallup International Armenian office, mentioned that the survey was held until May 9, and the results submitted could vary yet.
