Hakob Chakryan: protests will not lead to review of  Constitution  referendum results in Turkey

ArmInfo.Despite the fact OSCE observers  reported many violations either during pre electoral campaign and on the elections day in Turkey, the review of the voting  results is almost unreal,. Hakob Chakryan, the Turkish studies expert shared his opinion at a press conference. 

According to him. Turkish president Erdogan reached the results  he  desired implementing falsifications. 

Particularly, the expert stated that there were numerous bulletins  without seals, and obstacles for the work of "No" bloc members  (oppositionists to constitution reforms - Ed.rem). 

It is important also that referendum was held under the conditions   emergency   state. Moreover, according to the expert, in Kurdish  regions, where the support of Erdogan is already none, persecution  measures were undertaken, and for that reason many of them left their  homes and did not participate to the voting process. 

The political expert also mentioned that there were no preconditions  set for proper and fair electoral campaign. Moreover,  President-oriented forces raised obstacles for the opposition.   Chakryan accentuated also the fact that  Donald Trump, the President  of United States, hurried to congratulate Erdogan. According to him,  this step was aimed at the improvement of US influence of the region,  counter  to the Russian influence.
