ArmInfo. The Central Electoral Commission summarized the results of the parliamentary elections in Armenia for 2005 from 2009 polling stations.
According to the CEC, 11.00 on April 3 handled 99.8% of the bulletins. In the electoral race, the ruling Republican Party, which is gaining 49.15% of the vote, is still in the lead with a big advantage. The Tsarukyan bloc receives 27.37% of the vote, the Yelk bloc - 7.78%, the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party - 6.58% of the vote. It is this four who will get seats in the National Assembly of the republic.
The Armenian Revival Party received 3.72% of the vote, the Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc (2.07%), the ANC-PPA bloc (1.65% %), The Free Democrats (0.94%) and the Communist Party (0.75%).
To note, out of 2.587.706 voters, 1.574.947 citizens of the country took part in the voting, which is 60.86% of the total number of persons who can vote. Five parties and four blocs took part in the elections. For the passage to the National Assembly, parties had to overcome the 5% threshold.
