As reported by Radio Liberty, the incident was caused by the fact that the correspondent noted that before coming to the polling station the voters were entering the headquarters of the RPA candidate Hakob Beglaryan, and when some of them were released, a sum of money was found in their hands. In this light, the journalist himself went to the headquarters.
According to the source, the figures present in the HQ who noticed the journalist, explained that they are giving the salaries and not electoral bribes. After this, a group of young people, attacked the journalist and took the phone. As a result of the scuffle, the correspondent received an eye injured.
To note, the same situation is in other electoral headquarters of Beglaryan, where voters are given bribes and claim that their voting will be monitored by cameras specially installed in the cabins, in particular, it is about the polling station located in Yerevan school Nar-Dos.
