ArmInfo.Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan voted for peace and stability. He executed his civil duty at the poling station 29/9. After voting, he told journalists that the Great Lent needs peace and calmness.
Commenting on the rumors of electoral bribes, he stated, "It is a kind of crime that requires a claimant and the one who received the bribe". As regards the statement of Seyran Ohanyan, ex defense minister, one of the leaders of the Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc, about preparedness for post-electoral developments and street protests, Vladimir Gasparyan noted: "I do not think there can be adventurism in our country."
During a recent press conference, Daniel Ioannisyan, a representative of the Union of Informed Citizens NGO, expressed his concern about the Armenian Police actions. He said that the citizens, who report about electoral bribery, deny their on words after visiting the police station.
