ArmInfo.Gallup International Association held second stage of the survey regarding the rating of political parties and blocs at upcoming Parliamentary Elections. The results were presented on March 24 in Yerevan by Aram Navasardyan, Armenian branch of Gallup.
" According to the survey implemented, if parliamentary elections were held today, the results would be as follows below: Republican Party would have the support of 29,4% of voters, while in February this figure made 22.8%; Tsaroukyan bloc would have 28,2 % versus previous 26.4%, the Yelq bloc - 6.1%, instead of 4.3%, ARF Dashnaktsutyun 4,8%, versus 3,9 %, the Free Democrats Prty - 4,4%, versus 3.4%, Armenian Renaissance - 3,4%, instead 2.7% Armenian National Congress-Armenian Democratic Party - 2,9%, instead 2.6%, Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanyan bloc - 2,5%, instead 1.8 % and Armenian Communist Party -1,2% , instead 1%. It is remarkable that 9.% refused to answer who for they are going to vote, and 7,6 % - coud not answer the question. Navasardyan added also, that in the survey held the rating(territorial) based lists were not considered.
Following him, according to the survey implemented, 66,6% (59,9% for February) of respondents stated that they will participate in the upcoming elections for sure, 26,1%, instead of previous 25.7% stated their participation in the elections is possible, , 2,4%, versus 4.3% in February look like not intended to participate, 3,8% , instead former 7.1% willnot participate for sure, and 1%, instead 3% in February - couldn't answer.
Referring to the person of Karen Karapetyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Navasardyan mentioned that his rating sustainably stands at the same level, i.e. 81% of respondents in general estimate the activities of new Prime Minister positively, 10% instead of former 9.9% - mostly negative, 4,5% versus 3.8% - negative, 4,8%,instead 5.1% - could not answer. "At that, 59,4%, instead former 62.3% of respondents estimated the activities of new government during recent 6 months as positive, 22,3%, instead of 19.8% - more as negative, 12,5% , instead 9% - negative, another 5,9%, versus that of 8.9% in February - could not answer.
It is remarkable, that like as before the start of the electoral campaign, during the electoral race 82.2% of respondents stated that would like to see Karen Karapetyan at the post of the Prime Minister after the 2017 Parliamentary Elections 6,9%, instead 6.25% - mostly no, 4,8, versus 2.7% - no, and 5,4% ,instead 8.8% could not answer.
The question regarding which issues exactly would be the priorities for Karen Karapetyan at his post of the Prime Minister , 72,9%, versus former 66.9% stated jobs creation, 37,1%, instead 42.6% - economy growth, 25,9 %, instead 28.9% - corruption struggle, 21,3%, versus 20%- health care, 22,5%, instead 16.7% - education, 6,2% ,versus 11.6 % - foreign policy. At that, 62,2%, instead former 64.5 % respondents considered the activities of the Prime Minister for last 6 months as justified. According to the Gallup Amrneian office director, majority of respondents mentioned the pre-electoral campaigns of Tsaroukyan - 77.3, the second position is held by RPA - 65,7%, next comes Yelq with its 25%, ORO-19,1%, Armenian Renaissance - 12,4%, ARFD- 12,4%, ACP - 9,4%, Free Democrats -7,7%, ANC-PPA- 7,5% , and 5,3% couldn't answer. At the same time, 56,7% of respondents participated to the electoral race of RPA, 46% - of Tsaroukyan bloc, 14 % of Yelq, 6,7%- of Armenian Renaiisance, 5,3%- of ORO, 4,7% - of ARFD, 3,3% -ACP, 2% - of ANC-NPA, 2% - of Free Democrats.
To mentioned, the second stage of the survey was implemented throughout the territory of Armenia - - 33% of respondents in Yerevan 67 % - in the regions of the country during the period of March 12-19 . In total, 1145 participated to the survey, the survey omissions may form 3%.
The first stage of survey was implemented from February 23 to March 2 with 1146 persons participated.
