ArmInfo.At its extraordinary sitting on February 25, the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia (CEC) registered the proportional lists of the political forces running in the April 2 parliamentary elections.
The positions of the parties and blocs on the ballot papers are as follows: 1) Yelk bloc, 2) Free Democrats Party, 3) Armenian Revival, 4) Tsarukyan bloc, 5) Armenian National Congress and People's Party of Armenia, 6) Republican Party of Armenia, 7) Communist Party of Armenia, 8) Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc, 9) ARF Dashnaktsutyun.
To recall, the parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for April 2. The official electoral campaign will start on March 5 and will end on March 31. The voting will take place on April 2, from 8 am till 8 pm. The preliminary results will be publicized on April 3, before 8 pm. 9 political forces - four parties, three blocs, and two joint proportional lists - have been registered to run in the elections. Four international organizations - CoE, PACE, OSCE and CIS Interparliamentary Assembly - are invited to observe the elections.
