ArmInfo. On Sunday the Parties of prosperous Armenia, Gnchakyan, Ramkavar Azatakan, Armenian National Movement and the Unity Movement will sign a Consolidation Memorandum, Tsaroukyan block PR manager Aram Vardanyan stated during the conversation with ArmInfo reporter.
"Heis the head and the skeleton of the block will be Tsaroukyan, but the block is not a consolidation around one single person, this is an idea-based unity, " hementioned. In the same time, the block is named after Tsaroukyan, because different surveys showed that the people of the country relate their hopes exactly to his personality . "He minded that, but we insisted, because we wanted every national to know which block exactly will be headed by Tsaroukyan," he accentuated, adding that after setting the political platform other political powers could also join it. Vardanyan added also, that he held consultations meetings with Seyran Ohanyan. " But the matter is to define the stage of cooperation. Our position regarding the need to consolidate the efforts for reforms is shared by all the people, and that is only technical matter at which stage exactly it wil happen," he accentuated. He did not rule out at that the consolidation will take place at any of the stages. "Consolidation both in single block and in respect to common points after the elections," he clarified while not ruling out the probability of coalitional administration. At it was informed before, Tigran Urikhanyan's Alliance Party will run in the parliamentary elections as part of the Gagik Tsarukyan bloc, Urikhanyan said at a press conference in Yerevan on Feb 3. He stressed that he has always supported Tsarukyan, even when the latter left mainstream politics.
To note, ArmInfo has been told by parliamentary sources that Prosperous Armenia Party leader Naira Zohrabyan was against the inclusion of the Alliance Party and Urikhanyan in the Gagik Tsarukyan bloc. A conflict arose between Urikhanyan and Zohrabyan and their personal insults appeared in the social networks and mass media.
On February 5, the Gagik Tsarukyan bloc will sign a memorandum of cooperation. The bloc will include Prosperous Armenia, Ramkavar Azatakan, Social-Democrat Hunchakyan Party, Pan-Armenian National Movement and Alliance Party. The bloc's list will be topped by Tsarukyan himself. The list will also include Leader of Pan-Armenian National Movement Ararat Zurabyan, ex-foreign minister Alexander Arzumanyan, leaders of Hunchakyan and Ramkavar Azatakan parties Narek Galstyan and Hakob Avetikyan; Tigran Urikhanyan from Alliance Party, MPs from Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohrabyan, Vahe Enfiakyan, Mikayel Melkumyan, as well as Tsarukyan's spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan. The ranked list of the bloc will include such figures as Sergey Hovjannisyan (aka Cadillac Serozh), ex- mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan (aka Vardanik), ex-lawmaker from the Republican Party of Armenia Hakob Hakobyan (aka Tshoyt), scandalous lawmaker Zorik Zohrabyan (aka Jimmi), ex head of Arabkir community of Yerevan Hovik Shahinyan, lawmaker Mher Sedrakyan's son David Sedrakyan, and Tsarukyan's son-in-law, mayor of Artashat Argam Abrahamyan.
