He said, that by today the Karabakh conflict is one of the most complicated situations in the world, but its settlement is not in the President Turmp priorities list At that, Washington wants to have good relations with all the countries of South Caucasus, realizing the importance of this region in global relations. At the same time diplomat stated, that is impossible today to make any forecasts on how Trump's presidency will impact the existing system of international relations. Hill thinks that Trump's policy in respect to negotiations with different countries and organizations proceeds from American interests, trade transactions, investments and security. According to Hill's estimates, such an approach has real chances to improve the international relations essentially, increasing the level of parity between countries. Hill sees also good prospective of American-Russian relations warming, considering that Trump-Putin deal assumes a deeper understanding of Moscow's historical interests by Washington, in exchange to Moscow's more circumcised and responsible behavior. At that, diplomat stated he is confident that Moscow should not even try to get back the territories of Eastern Europe. According to him, the CIS countries should remain free and independent.
