ArmInfo. The development of the military reserve system is the first priority for Armenian Armed Forces and Government, Koryun Nahapetyan, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on Defense, Security and Internal Affairs .
According to Nahapetyan, the aspect still faces some problems, which became obvious after the April Aggression of Azerbaijan. "The military reserve system is an important part of homeland security, hence, a close cooperation with the Ministry of Defense is required. The reservists should pass appropriate trainings cources and obtain skills regarding operation of modern weapons," he accentuated.
In his turn, Henirik Mouradyan, the Chief Military Commissioner of Armenia, stated that the main part of reservists does not participate to the appropriate courses, which is unacceptable.
