Since September 2013, Ara Sahakyan has been Armenia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan. Since May 2016, Timur Urazayev has been Kazakhstan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia. The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia was opened in March 2007. Armenia imports mostly raw materials, finished food products, metals and metallic items from Kazakhstan and exports mostly plastic goods, rubber, rubber items, footwear, etc. to Kazakhstan.
