Official Yerevan had submitted the format of the Karabakh conflict's resolution to the world community yet long ago, and Ankara does not fit into it, Eduard Sharmazanov, Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, told reports on Friday, when commenting on Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's statement following his meeting with his Georgian and Azerbaijani opposite numbers.  To recall, Davutolgu said that the Armenian-Turkish relations can be normalized only after the Karabakh conflict is resolved.

 Private sector development, public administration reform and justice sector reform will be the priorities of EU-Armenia relations in the period 2014-2020, as they are expected to be conducive to the country's economic growth, says the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Traian Hristea, in an interview with the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre. "We expect they will be conducive to economic growth in Armenia. A particular focus will be placed on encouraging economic diversification and competitiveness, strengthening SMEs especially in rural areas, securing the rights of business entities, enhancing the Government's steering and administrative capabilities and independent and effective judicial sector. A horizontal emphasis will be put on civil society support across all these areas", says Hristea.

 French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud met with reporters, Thursday. According to the ambassador, France is on the 3rd position in the world in terms of the number of foreign students. Nearly 300,000 students from many countries study at France's universities and high schools. Ambassador Reynaud spotlighted France's first position in the EU by the number of Armenian students. In the educational year 2011-2012, there were nearly 1,000 Armenian students in France.

 Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan charged the Government to set up a working group to study the quality of natural gas in the country, Thursday.  Despite numerous statements on the quality of gas, the consumers are still concerned over its quality.  Therefore, the prime minister said, the working group will comprise both specialists and representatives of public organizations.
